Learn how to fine tune your training and development programs, assessment instruments and facilitators through a series of planned consulting assessments uniquely designed and administered by Jeff Magee.
1. The first step in the consulting phase is to develop a clear focus of what is desired as the final outcome.
2. Analysis of current position statements (job descriptions) and of existing, yet, not filled positions will be reviewed.
3. This data is then layered and laid against four critical training and development needs - Four Needs Model©: (1) the Business Needs; (2) the desired Performance Based Needs; (3) the Environmental Needs and Restrictions; and, (4) the Position Competencies Needed.
4. An ideal training program comes from the combined information that the Four Needs Model© reveals. This is then weighted against industry benchmarks to identify what level of reality there is in implementation within your organization given present conditions.
This will reveal what business practices need to be considered in order to move from where you are to where you desire to be!
5. A major departing from industry norms with this model is the competencies identification matrix developed by JMI®. While an industry norm has been to identify and develop "job descriptions", JMI® has found that, that alone is one of the fastest routes to disaster!
6. The next step in our process involves
surveying three types of employees to identify
best business practices. This survey also affords a glimpse
into how to get all employees up to peak performance faster.
7. Then a special survey is administered
to two different customer basis to determine what
training needs are being missed or needing refocus to meet
their needs.
